Candy Canes and Cookies!

This is my favorite time of year, and having children brings a whole new magic into the season! We recently went on a "Santa Express" train ride and the kids had a few treats! Santa also was on board to see all of the kids too! Here's a couple of quick snapshots of my kids getting their outfits nice and dirty!

New in November!

Introducing little Miss Haley. She is only 11 days old today! Haley was awake almost the whole session, so maybe she'll sleep good for Mom and Dad tonight! Here's a few of my favorites...

Just In Time...

Just in time for the Holidays, I can't believe what a gorgeous day we had today! The kids were getting warm in their sweaters! I had a great time playing with them in the leaves. They are all uniquely beautiful and I hope Mom enjoys this sneak peek.

Class of 2008

Congrats to Mr. M on his senior year! We weren't sure if the weather was going to cooperate today, but between wind gusts we were able to get his senior session done! I had a lot of fun checking out some bike jumps and taking some action shots. Here's a sneak peek.

September Love...

I must say, after shooting this wedding yesterday, September might be my favorite new month for weddings! It was a gorgeous day yesterday and bride and groom were so beautiful! I had a lot of fun yesterday and I think the bridal party did too!

My Little Ballerina

My daughter Addison turns one soon, and I made sure to pencil in a session for her today. I'm trying really hard to make sure she doesn't get "second child syndrome" and never have any formal pictures taken of her! She did a great job today, even though we took a few breaks. My niece and nephew joined our session today, and also my son Sam. My main goal for the day was to get just ONE picture of my two kids together.... lets just say I didn't get one without someone crying! Oh well, maybe the holiday session will go better!

My husband has been working SO HARD with Addison before the first Cornhusker game on Saturday... teaching her the sign for "TOUCHDOWN!"... and it sure paid off today for a ballerina pose!

This is my niece, Andie. She is six going on sixteen. She is so beautiful and so photogenic, she LOVES working the camera!

This is my little nephew, Ty. At first was NOT excited to take pictures, but eventually warmed up to the lens!

Countryside Wedding

There could not have been a better day to get married! It was gorgeous yesterday, and the setting in Honey Creek, IA was beautiful!! It took a couple of dirt roads to get there... but it was perfect!! Thanks to the Bride and Groom and a wonderful wedding party. I had a lot of fun with you yesterday!! Congrats to Sam and Jessica!!

Patiently Waiting...

I had such a good time with the D family this morning.... as always! They have been so much fun to work with. The arrival of a new baby is always exciting! Anyone who knows me, knows how much I LOVE the new baby thing. Here's a quick glimpse of today's session. The D family is expecting their second son in mid-September!

I had a lot of fun yesterday hanging out with Miss DW. This two year old is so full of energy and on the go! I had to be really quick to grab her expressions and keep up with all of her energy!

Lesson #1- How to throw a knuckleball...

I've had such a pleasure watching this family grow! It was fun to get together to take a few family pictures, just before the family gets bigger! Dad and son were too cute in their "Twins" jerseys throwing the ball around. Thanks to the D family for such a wonderful morning at the park!
