Conversation with Santa

Today we made our way up to Fremont, where the dinner train puts on a Great ride for the kids this time of year... the Santa Run! There was holiday coloring books, Christmas cookies, hot apple cider, singing Christmas songs, and of course a visit from the big man himself, Santa.

Here's a short video of the afternoon with the kids. Sam and Addison had no fear and were determined to tell Santa what they wanted. Santa was VERY attentive to their wishes! Thanks Emery and Scarlett for coming to see Santa with us too!

The Whole Family...

Well, the WHOLE family didn't quite all make it IN the picture. There are a couple of cats that we tried to get into the picture, but the pup, Spook, was more interested in playing with the cats than having his picture taken! Here's a couple of snaps of my good friends Shannon and Jenny! We were able to get a few with just the dogs, and then some of just the two of them! The Family that Plays together...

Stays together! Tonight was extra fun... my sister and her family came over to brave the cold and get some family pictures. At least it wasn't windy! Little Man Ty was shivering the whole time, so I had to make it quick! Here's a couple of my favorites... and a couple trying a new color scheme... I like the tug of war... I think it would make a great BIG Canvas above her sofa!

Happy Birthday Haley!

Haley turned ONE today! Gosh a year goes by Fast! I've been photographing this little one since she was just a few days old! She is definately on the move and keeping Mom and Dad on their toes. Here's a couple from our shoot today!

More Treats than Tricks!

Thought I'd share a few snaps of my kiddos..... they made out like bandits! What is a Mom to do with all this candy..... they definitely don't NEED it.... its a good thing parents are advised to go through them...(and take out all of the Reese's PB Cups!)

3rd Time's A CHARM!!

After rescheduling these two back to back sessions TWICE, due to uncooperative rain, yesterday was absolutely perfect! We found some local spots around Ashland, there are sooo many different places to take pictures! Thanks Nicki and Amanda! I had a great time! Enjoy the sneak peeks!

If you could pick a perfect day for a wedding, Saturday was it! The skies cleared, and the Durham was a perfect setting for a wedding. These two didn't stop smiling ALL day! My best wishes to Ryan and Nicky! Enjoy your sneak peek!

Spitfires

This weekend was a busy one, and Saturday I had a great time watching my niece, Andie, play her last soccer game of the season. Even though she and her team (AKA the Spitfires) lost, they all had great spirit and played hard. Great Job ANDIE!

Clint '09

This morning I went out and about with Clint and his mom. It was a gorgeous morning, and even warm. They were very patient waiting for the cloud cover as it came and went, and here are some of my favorites from the shoot. I had back to back sessions today... for Clint's session it was sunny and warm, and by the time I made it to Brendon's, it was overcast and chilly! (See Brendon's blog below!) Here's some quick peeks for Brendon. By the time I took Brendon's pictures, the clouds came in and the temperature dropped... it was Chilly! Thanks for letting me try out a new spot! Congratulations Bob and Joyce!

Yesterday I had the great pleasure of being a part of Bob and Joyce's day. I can't even begin to explain in words how much love the two of them have for each other. I was near tears when they saw each other for the first time! I could tell that their "special moment" was more than special to them. These two have wonderful families that were joined together yesterday into one, and I can easily see that they are all so close, and have such a great future together. To Bob and Joyce, thank you for including me in your special day.... I wish you both love and happiness. - Jada
