What a CUTIE!!

I was SO excited when I got the call for this photoshoot! This family is very near and dear to me, and photographing little Anella was so much fun! Photographing a six month old (almost seven) is one of my favorite ages... they are awake, happy, and can't run off yet! Here's a couple of my favorites from this morning... I think she like the feel of my fuzzy fabric, she was smiling the whole time. Enjoy!--xoxo Jada

Happy New "Ear!"

Happy New,...Ear. At least that is what my 3 year old thinks it is. He insists everyone gets a new ear.

With the New Year always comes resolutions. It's a fresh start, and as I sit here and think what it is that I should put on my list, it always seems to be the same things. Eat healthier, exercise, spend less, finish a few projects... I'm always on task for the first couple of months, then I seem to suddenly "forget" about my goals. I remember in one of my college courses, my professor stated the odds of actually meeting goals. I vaguely remember: make long AND short term goals. WRITE them down, and VISIT them often to track your progress. So this week, I'm determined to make some very specific goals for both me and the business!

2008 was full of a lot of unknowns after quitting my job to jump into the photography full time... it was a GREAT first year thanks to all of you! I learned SO much from my first 7 weddings on my own and met a lot of great people along the way! I also had a chance to photograph some new families, and witness how fast children grow! Seniors were a new venture for me in 2008, and I must say, I LOVED every session! I'll be updating the galleries on the website soon, so keep checking back... your images might be on there!

And of course a blog post isn't complete without Pictures! Here's a few from our holidays... I must say with a 2 and 3 year-old, this Christmas was absolutely magical! Wishing you the Best in 2009!

A "Silly" Family Picture!

Both of them got their own cameras.... asssistants in training!

Addison with her dolly cradle and rocker.... which used to be mine! What is up with her side jaw smile lately?

The most wanted toy for Sam... and THE HARDEST to find. Thank goodness for ebay!
