Rock That Dress!

So you spend hundreds or possibly thousands of dollars for that perfect gown, to only wear it one day?? I just don't think that's fair!! It's fun to slip it back on and head out to get some fun and edgy pictures! Yesterday's session with Nicole was perfect! (after being postponed 3 times due to rain!) We had a great time taking these images, and even did a little off-roading! Thanks again Nicole! I had a Great Time!! Enjoy!!

Haley ~ Class of 2010

The cold weather couldn't stop us! Haley was a real trooper putting up with the cold weather and wind. I must admit, she is tougher than I am! We had a great time running around town taking some senior portraits! I absolutely LOVED her prom dress! These dresses always make for a fun and edgy senior image! Enjoy your previews Haley!

"Fall" in Love!- Jessica & Brian!

Last weekend was the PERFECT fall setting for Jessica & Brian to say their "I Dos!" There was so much thought and preparation put into all of the details for this day! I LOVED their choice of flowers. The theme was "green", and very elegantly, the bouquets included cabbage, berries, orchids, and yellow roses. It was a great time spending the afternoon and evening with these two! Enjoy the previews, there are quite a few! Everything from the Dance with Dad, tearing up the dancefloor, and a "fortune cookie" reading!

Randy & Heather ~ She said Yes!

This engagement session was especially fun! Heather and I have been friends since Kindergarten, so when I got the text she was getting married, I was absolutely ecstatic! Even more so, I am very honored that she has asked me to be her photographer for the wedding next October!! I can't wait to party it up down at Pla Mor ballroom!! Randy and Heather wanted some fall pics for their engagement images, and after postponing a couple of times due to weather, we finally had a perfect night!! There were soooo many images I wanted to post, but decided on just a few. There are two sunset silhouette pictures... I just couldn't decide which one I liked better! And who says you can't do sunset pictures on a cloudy day? I think the cloudes add a whole new dimension to the picture! Enjoy!

Austin '10'

Thanks Austin for making the trip from David City for some senior pictures! Austin is an avid outdoorsman, so its only natural to wait for some fall colors to take pictures with! Austin brought a few props that really depict his personality! First stop, Ashland gun club where Austin frequently visits to trapshoot. Then a few other places around to get some variety! Skyler + Lauren

What a great time I had with Lauren and Skyler! The whole wedding party was a blast, and up for ANYTHING! We had lots of time between the ceremony and reception for a few different outdoor location shoots! It's hard work to take that many pictures, so when the wedding party mentioned they were hungry... what better place to go than the grocery store. In the Garden~ Teresa and Curt

Last weekend was PERFECT for an outdoor wedding at the Sunken Gardens in Lincoln! Curt and Teresa had a very special day joining their two families together. Their ceremony was very moving and special! One of my favorite parts of the day was their "sand ceremony". Each family member poured their own color of sand into a bottle, and it really represented the joining of these two families. I enjoyed meeting both of their families and spending time with Teresa and Curt on their big day! My best wishes to both of you!!

I had such a great time photographing these two last night! Sometimes it takes couples awhile to relax and get used to the camera and to feel natural in front of it, but these two had it Immediately!! I'm so excited to shoot their wedding next June, and I'm sure the Grand Manse in Lincoln will be a beautiful spot for these two to celebrate! I LOVE these images...
